Who We Are
An educational services provider for the greater Austin, Texas community since 1982, HOFT has expanded to become a multi dimensional corporation providing solutions for the international education markets online, at our campus headquarters or at your home.
Our mission is to provide the best educational services to our clients, and a positive professional environment for our associates. We are authorized by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) to issue I-20 visas to international students and accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET.)
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Onsite ESL
HOFT Institute offers part-time English classes for local and international students on any visa besides M-1 or F-1. Our ESL program has classes for students at all levels. We offer this program all semester and students are allowed to join at any point and customize their schedules.
Online ESL
Our online program is a five-level English language course available to students in the United States or internationally. This program teaches ESL entirely online. The 15-week semester ends August 20. Our free three-times-weekly exercise classes and free daily conversation partner program are also online and available to all paying students!
University Pathways Program
This program is for international students preparing for U.S. universities and colleges. Fast Track studies help their preparation for study abroad with many targeted services. We guide and assist students through the admissions process and provide key skills needed for academic success and entry into the workforce.
Professional Development
We offer a number of courses and programs geared towards current and budding professionals. Among our offerings are ESL for Medical Professionals, corporate training, and teacher training.

Tutoring
We are dedicated to your success, providing quality tutoring, experienced tutors and flexible scheduling options. Students have the option of having their session onsite at HOFT Institute, online or offsite at a location convenient to them.

At HOFT, we offer quality test preparation classes to help you pass the TSI, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, TOEFL and IELTS. Our experienced instructors have scored in the top percentiles on their tests and will tailor your preparatory classes to fit your exact needs.
